This is a class with a difference.  Join me at the finest hotel in the Cotswolds.  Draw your inspiration form the exquisite gardens at this luxury venue nestled in the breathtaking beauty of the Cotswolds, where you can escape the daily grind and indulge in a carefree day of easy sugar flower making, yes easy skill level!  Our focus for the day will be on crafting the exquisite Clematis Montana as seen here, using  sugar flower paste.  You will take home your flower spray, just like the one in the image and a small dummy cake which will be pre iced ready for you on it's own board complete with presentation box ready for travel.  What could be easier? As well as all this, a buffet lunch from the kitchen of the renown Chef Charles Smith, famed for his work with the Hairy Bikers is included in the price as well as warm pastries and refreshments throughout the day.  What more could you want from a day out.  Join me and I will teach you all I know about the skill of sugar flower making. 

  • PRODUCT INFO

    On the day we will meet up for tea/coffee and fresh pastries, then we will be learning how to roll sugar paste and cut petals, thin them and give them veins for that realistic appearance before attaching them to wires and drying them into shape. Once they are dry we will colour and dust them in shades of nature.  We will make buds in various stages of development, colouring  them delicately to perfection as well. We will make as many leaves as time and skill allow in the same way. Once dusted shaded and dry, we will assemble the piece into a gently meandering stem around your small dummy cake, ready for you to take home and display with pride. Good enough to impress any bride to be, should you be contemplating making wedding or celebration cakes in the future.  The class price is fully inclusive of morning coffee/tea and pastries, a break for an impressive buffet lunch away from our working room, provided by our luxury venue chef as well as afternoon tea/coffee with homemade cake or scones.

    When you attend the class, you'll have use of all the necessary tools and materials needed plus a 250g pack of the finest  Robert Haynes Premium Flower Paste.  I use the best quality cutters and veiners from Sugar Delites and The Sugar Flower Studio London. I consider them to be the best available so they will give you the optimum results. Cutters and Veiners will be available to purchase at the end of the class should you wish to take them home with you.  

    Rest assured, I will be with you every step of the way, offering step-by-step guidance to ensure your success. However, there's no need to worry about the occasional mishap, as I will have a few backup supplies prepared to alleviate any pressure. At the end of the class, you will leave with a pre-iced dummy cake and a sturdy box, providing peace of mind for their transport home.

    This class is designed to cater to individuals of all skill levels, as the intimate group size of a maximum of 8 ensures that everyone will receive the individual attention and assistance necessary for their success.

  • RETURN & REFUND POLICY

    Refunds will only be considered if cancellation is made in sufficient time for the place to be resold before the start of the class.  I am happy to refund payment  in full for class places, as and when your place has been resold. 

    Any orders for cutters and veiners that have been paid for in advance will not be refundable unless the person taking your place wishes to purchase them.
